We have our first addition to the "team." @toppiestdylan, a really fantastic artist, he'll be working on lots of art stuff from covers to characters to backgrounds!

The project is starting to get a little more serious. There are plans to release with a publisher in China, so I've been focused on adding localization support. This needed to be done now since stage demos are going to be shown there soon. There will be support for many languages, including Japanese, Korean, Spanish, etc. I haven't hired any translators yet (though the Chinese translation is part of the deal). But all the localization is in Google sheets (column for each language). I realized there’s so much text in the game from card descriptions, to tooltips, to dialogue, but it’s good because it forced me to externalize all that.

There are also a few Festivals and Events I will be going to myself! Will release announcements shortly. It all seems like more work than I realized. It'll be super awesome to be out there on the floor, in a booth though (and onstage)! Never thought I would even make it this far.

I've been able to separate the demos from new mechanics pretty well so far. The only tough part is now I'll have another demo type for Events. So... more conditions in the code for that. I've been getting better at adding automated checks to make sure everything's good for the demo though.

It's all very exciting, I just have to work overtime on my uhh already "16 hr workdays" (just kidding)

My job is sending me to Adobe Max in LA next week. So that will be fun probably. It'll also be a much needed break from my game. Hope to learn a lot from some top talent! If you're going to be there, feel free to get in touch on twitter!
